World’s 11th Largest Yacht Yet Again Drops Anchor in Dubrovnik - Richest Russian

And Of Course, it Belongs to an Oligarch

The Bay of Zupa and Cavat in Dubrovnik welcomed the Ocean Victory to its temperate waters. As the luxurious superyacht dropped anchor, heads turned in amazement. Even though it is no longer in the top 10 largest yachts in the world, since the Redwood Opus was launched in early 2019, Ocean Victory is still known as one of the world’s most stunning yachts and is only two metres shorter than Redwood Opus. Its proud owner is none other than one of Russia’s favourite billionaires, the entrepreneur and metal magnate Viktor Rashnikov.

Around 10 Metres Longer Than a Football Field

Built in 2014, the stunning 140-metre superyacht can accommodate 26 passengers in 13 luxurious cabins. There is also spacious accommodation for a total of 56 crew members to ensure that all visitors enjoy the absolute luxury and care the super-rich Russians of the world are used to. Ocean Victory has an underwater observation room, six pools, a 300 square metre spa area, a tender garage that can accommodate a 14-metre vessel and seven decks, including a helicopter deck!
This spectacular yacht is the largest superyacht ever built by the Italian shipyard Fincantieri Yachts and was reportedly purchased for a whopping US$300 million. A massive price, but nothing is too grandiose for a Russian billionaire as wealthy as Rashnikov.

Metal Magnate, but Still Humble and Helpful

Viktor Rashnikov was once described by Russian President Vladimir Putin as a businessman who is not only a good manager but also somebody who takes care of people and looks after the environment. He built his illustrious career and fortune by himself after his humble beginning of working at a steelworks company as a fitter. These days the billionaire not only has a net worth of close to US$10 billion, according to Forbes.com, he also owns a range of other large luxury items like a US$75 million Gulfstream G65OER private jet and a massive mansion in Barvikha, which is known as the playground of some of Russia’s wealthiest people.

Despite his massive wealth, the oligarch remains humble and helpful. He donates around US$25 million to charitable ventures every year for causes including victims of environmental, natural and industrial disasters, support for large families, healthcare for pensioners and other medical charities. It would appear that Rashnikov has remained humble, and most certainly deserves to spend some time in a location as stunning as Dubrovka.

A Yachting Paradise fit for an Oligarch

The Bay of Zupa and Cavat are known as being top destinations for yachting enthusiasts. Just before Viktor Rashnikov’s yacht dropped anchor, the owner of the Mexican beer giant, Corona was seen in the same space. And it looks like it may be becoming an annual tradition for Rashnikov to anchor at Dubrovnik. Ocean Victory was spotted in Dubrovnik around the same time last year after spending some time in Mykonos earlier in the year. With its stunning Mediterranean climate, fair water and breathtaking natural beauty, it’s no wonder Dubrovnik is a prized destination, fit for the even the most discerning oligarch.
