I’m not as Rich as Abramovich, so I’m Okay - Richest Russian

Russian Tycoon Buys £22 Million UK House, Despite Diplomatic Tensions

Super rich Russians all over Britain are cashing in their chips and moving on. One after the other their assets are frozen, and they are made to feel most unwelcome. But multi-millionaire Dmitry Tsvetkov is laughing it off as he is splashing out on a £22million home.

Exclusivity at a Price

Dawn Hill, the Russian’s newly acquired luxurious 10-bedroom home, is located in Surrey on the exclusive Wentworth Estate and has a large indoor pool, a private cinema, elaborate wine cellar and an underground garage with space for at least 10 cars. The house also boasts crystal taps imported from Paris, worth £30,000. The According to Tsvetkov, his wife Elsina Khayrova, a former model, was not keen on buying such a large and expensive house and it took some persuading before she was convinced that it was the right thing to do. The couple plan on spending weekdays in London at their £10million apartment in London close to Harrods, and weekends and holidays at Dawn Hill.

“An investigation would prove it was bought legitimately”

Aged 37, Tsvetkov is the first super-rich Russian to speak out after reports that as many as 100 wealthy foreigners (mostly Russian) will be subjected to unexplained wealth orders forcing them to reveal the source of their wealth. Tsvetkov said that he is more than happy for the authorities to look into his finances and that he did not make his money in Russia. He is proud to be a British citizen since 2010 and claims that he has limited business ties to Russia. The Russian tycoon jokingly stated that he is not as rich as the oligarchs who own football clubs like Roman Abramovich!
