Always ready for the limelight, Lindsay Lohan is not shy to lay her life out to the public eye and this is exactly what she did at the recent swanky Cannes Film Festival party. The controversial star, who is usually seen with a cigarette and a drink in hand (and often losing her balance), was overheard in several conversations at the luxurious villa where the party was held. All Lohan was apparently speaking about is an exciting new project she is busy with – involving one of her favourite topics – Russian oligarchs.
A Russian Love Affair
We all know that Lohan has a soft spot for the Ruskis, and that she had a love affair with Egor Tarabasov, a Russian real estate mogul and the son of an oligarch. Now, in true Russian style she has taken her fondness for the nation to the extreme. According to Lohan she is thrilled with the project, and is working on it with a mysterious partner. Lohan further confessed that it involves writing a series and that the two of them have been working on the project every day during her stay in town.
Kind of Like the OA
According to a media source Lindsay Lohan furthermore said that the plan is to create a series about Russian oligarchs for Netflix and added that it would be similar to the OA. The series would be about the oligarchs and three princesses and would cover different ages. Her plan is that it would be co-directed by her and that she would also star in it. For inspiration the star would be travelling to Moscow to see some of the people she is working with on the project. If the series contains princesses and oligarchs, and is ‘kind of like’ the OA (a kind of weird sci-fi series) one can only imagine how strange things can get…
