Gastronome №1 receives two to three deliveries of produce every day. However, you can expect to pay for this level of quality. Avocados will set you back around RUB₽600 per kilogram (USD$8 or GBP£6/kg.)
The store also has a large assortment of chocolate imported from some of the world’s top chocolate-making countries, including Belgium, Switzerland, France, and Germany. The selection of high-quality teas at Gastronome №1 includes imports from far and wide—China, India, and Sri Lanka.
The extensive wine and spirits collection at Gastronome №1 is one of the best in the city. Professional sommeliers are ready to help you make your selection. Again, exceptional products and services come at a cost.
Although there is a more reasonably priced wine selection available, a magnum of quality Beluga vodka will set you back RUB₽22,000 (USD$293 or GBP£212,) and a not-so-reasonable bottle of wine could cost you as much as a staggering RUB₽325,000 (USD$4,340 or GBP£3,131.)
