Evgenia Guryeva is a Russian millionaire and stakeholder of PhosAgro, a leading Russian fertiliser and chemicals company. Guryeva is married to the former CEO of PhosAgro, Andrei Guryev, who has an estimated net worth of around $4.3 billion. PhosAgro is one of the world’s four largest producers of phosphate-based fertilisers and the largest company of its kind in Russia and Europe. It has a capital worth of around $4.8 billion.

Personal Wealth

The Guryev family owns controlling shares of PhosAgro through a trust fund instead of in their personal capacity. However, Evgenia Guryeva personally owns a 4.82% stake in the company. Through this, Guryev has amassed a personal fortune which is currently estimated to be around $22 million. Because of her substantial earnings, Guryeva was ranked as one of the wealthiest women in Russia. In 2013, she was at the top of the list of wealthy wives of Russian parliamentarians because she earned $22.7 million which was more than all the White House and Kremlin wives.

Real Estate

Evgenia Guryeva owns seven apartments, two double-storey apartment houses and two large plots of land. She also owns and lives in Witanhurst Estate in Highgate, London which is the second largest residential estate in London, surpassed only by Buckingham Palace and the Vauxhall Tower, a five-story residential skyscraper. Constructed in the 1930s, Witanhurst is located over 2 hectares in the northwest of London. The house has had several high-profile owners over the years including Arthur Crosfield, the soap magnate. Some of the mansion’s facilities include 65 rooms spread over three floors of which 25 rooms are bedrooms. One of the largest rooms is the ballroom which is 21 metres long and over 6 metres high. It is embellished with gold leaf and has oak floors and walnut wall panels.

A Substantial Collection of Vehicles

In addition to her considerable real estate assets, Evgenia Guryeva also owns a collection of vehicles which includes four Rolls Royce cars, a Mercedes Benz, a Range Rover SUV, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, an electric vehicle and a water bicycle. The Guryev family also own a luxury Airbus A319 private jet which is worth approximately $90 million and a luxurious superyacht called Alfa Nero. Constructed by Dutch yacht builders Oceanco, Alfa Nero originally belonged to the Greek steel magnate Theodore Angelopoulos, but was sold to the Guryev family for an undisclosed amount in 2014.

Personal Life

Evgenia Guryeva is married to Andrey Guryev and resides in London, United Kingdom. The couple has two children. Their daughter, Yulia Guryeva-Motlokhov, is married to Alexei Motlokhov, a London-based hedge-fund manager and has twin sons. They live next door to the Guryevs. Their son, Andrey Guryev, Jr., has followed in the footsteps of his mother and father and joined the fertiliser industry. In recent years he took over from his father as CEO of PhosAgro. Guryev Jr. is married to Valeria Guryeva, who completed her education at the London College of Fashion.
